What happens at a Crown Court trial – the verdict

We have now released the last in our series of factsheets dealing with what you can expect to happen at a Crown Court trial. This one deals with the end of the case, once all the evidence has been heard and takes you through the procedure from the end of your case right through to the verdict and what happens next.

As in the previous factsheets this is only intended as a guide for you as it would be impossible to take you through every scenario as it is often very much dependent on the individual circumstances of your case however we do hope that this is a helpful summary for you.

If you have any specific questions relating to your case, you should always ask your own solicitor about it. Don’t be afraid to ask, that’s what they are there for!
